There is a big problem of the earth environmental problem in the present age.
It is not the question which an answer comes out easily from.
And so it is taken will be respectively different, too.
So, I tried to do my expression.
I think that a human being is a part of the nature, too.
Does a person notice a now arrogant attitude toward the nature,
and won't he have to be more modest?
It is my theme to coexist with the nature,
and it is hoped that want it to be mankind's theme again.
I made a work in such feeling.
Driftwood and a leaf symbolize nature.
Then, glass symbolizes the technology which a human being produced,
material and a human being itself.
Then, as for it, "coexistence with the nature" is expressed in the meaning
which a human being fits to the natural form of changing a part.
And It shows the state that a human being presses nature too.
I particularly used a green jar this time,in the present condition that a green jar isn't recycled well.
Ms. Kumazawa of the glass artist has a studio in Furano of Hokkaido.
Then, she install the work of her glasses in the nature of Furano.
For example it is sometimes in the snowfield of a temperature before zero 20 times.
This time, as for her, in the space of Gallery, bringing the sand of Boso Seashore,
made like iland.
and using her bringing driftwoods,many empty bottles and a glass piece,
of which participant made arrange on the sand iland.
