Pepper's Project Exhibition
Message from Body

2000.5/1mon~6/3sat

Is as for it, a change in biochemistry and genetic engineering the beginning?
Is it the omen of the change in the person as a person's existence as a creature who goes to the 21st violent century?
It is surprised by a change in the expression of the body which is here with being found now.
The body which shakes. The body which a fragment turns to to the organ. On the other hand, the body which asks restoration & responce.
Stillness or the conflict of two deep violent poles can be seen there.
This is the message exhibition of the complexet form that it crosses in five weeks.

My creations has a motif of the faces dead people. I'm not representing the death masks of people in the world after death.
One finishes the life in this world, and he or she passes across the people. And it might be a face as an image, because,in this world,we imagine death and gone poeple. They've living in our
heart,the world of images.
The title of my creates," son0go-coro-kuru ",is made from Ainu(the language of the Ainus, the original race of hokkaido area). Ainu has no letter,so it is "dictionararized" as aJapanese KATAKANA form from its sounds.
The sound of Ainu "son-cocoro-kuru", which means a messenger, is a composite sound. (In addition,in Japanese,to mean a messenger, we use a sound "shishya",and we use the same one to mean a death person.) "Son" is an inflection of "shon",that means a baby. "Cocoro"which sounds a "heart"for Japanese,is an inflection of "cokera",that means a hole for a death person.
"kuru"means a person.
I remade this world to "son-gocoro-kuru"changing one sound. In Japanese, the sound "go"is called "dakuon",that means a turbid sound.
